Off to Cambridge!

The Strad research goes international! I was invited to present a paper on the Stradivarius guitars and reconstruction for the Consortium for Guitar Research in Cambridge (UK).

This is part of a three-day conference, attended by players, builders, researchers and musicologists from all over the world. A great chance to ask for input and gain new insights in the matter.

Because we will have to pay for our own transport and stay -money is still quite tight here- we held a small charity event last week. A short version of the lecture and a concert by player and musicologist Jelma van Amersfoort on her original 19th century Recio guitar.

I’m very grateful to everyone who helped and supported this.
