Just like any subculture there is a very distinct set of rules and conventions. Men discussing sewing patterns and fabrics, woman drinking mead, people playing historical instruments in weird ways. Sleeping in castles and tents, traveling like a nomad from event to event. Getting weird looks when you enter a tavern in your gambeson… It isn’t for the faint hearted…
