,My apologies for the irregular pace of blog posting this week. These weeks have been quite weird and busy. A couple of lectures that needed preparation, working in the shop and catching up on research. Monday my wife’s grandmother died, despite her age it still was a shock.
So I didn’t have too much time to write. The “Food for thought”-article was written in a single 15 minute writing frenzy. Thoughts just piled up and needed a vent.
I would like to share this little video with you about the history of the hand tools we all work with. Looking at old tools is a great inspiration, both to make tools and to use them.
Old hand tools are fascinating, they tell stories about their use and users. Knowing about their origin helps us better to understand the present form. Or may even lead us to make some improvements…
