Strange visitors at the shop…

Not a day goes by without a visitor in the shop; players, makers, family, friends, the local cats and dogs or an incidental Power Tools Witness spreading the word and reminding me that unplugged woodworkers will end in hell…

Strange visitorBut today a group of strange fellows knocked on the door. It turned out to be a group of Bosch figures having a field day. It’s a little known fact, but every once in a while even a painting needs a break, they get very tired of hanging around in museums all day. Strange visitorsOften these days are filled with heavy boozing, shopping and visiting family. But sometimes they get out to other attractions, like the Keukenhof, Madame Tussauds, the Amsterdam Red Light District or doing a canal boat tour. Today they were looking for the Jheronimus Bosch lute…

One was  curious, had never seen such a thing before… While others were contemplating and about the resonance…

But after some careful tuning…

Strange visitors

They were ecstatic…

Fun thing is that they had known Jheronimus Bosch in person, and told me some very amusing stories about him. Something about pills he used: one to make you larger, another to make you strong. And the one his mother gave him didn’t do anything at all… But I had to swear secrecy over the juicy details…
