An original maker: Paul Elkins

Based near Stanwood Washington, polymath Paul Elkins builds bicycles, pedalcars, tiny homes and shelters, boats, furniture.

I am partial to the idea that it’s much more satisfying to make something yourself, rather than buying it; a quest to re-think and re-design the world around us, walking away from consumerism and simplify our lives, reducing our waste the strain we put on this earth.
